The service
A specialist support service that builds a personal support system.
The service's first month is support-worker delivery: a 90-minute interview and 8 x 15-minute Support Sessions with the specialist support worker (Jamie), building the client a working personal support system, a personal support agent in a private Notion workspace, built on Claude, reached from any of the client's devices. The funded thing is the service, not any piece of hardware. Configuration detail (sensory-friendly settings, and for eligible iPhones one-press capture via the Action Button, at no extra charge) is tailored to the client's specific needs, identified during the first interview.
The system is built to externalise executive function. Working memory, time awareness, task initiation, and prioritisation are held in the system rather than in the client's head. The clinical basis is Russell Barkley's externalisation framework, the most established model for ADHD support.
The client owns everything that is set up. There is no subscription lock-in, no proprietary platform, and no provider-held data. If the client stops working with Neuro Support, the system stays with them on their own Notion Business plan (approximately NZ$80 to NZ$110/month direct to Notion, depending on agent use).
The audience
Neurodivergent adults with ADHD, autism, or both.
Common day-to-day struggles include starting tasks, holding several things in mind at once, tracking time, and deciding what to do next.
The same mechanism extends to anyone with similar functional needs: acquired brain injury, intellectual disability, chronic illness, and physical disability with executive function impact.
Some clients operate the system themselves. Others are supported by a circle: a family member, a partner, or a support worker who helps run it alongside them. The system works either way, and the same build serves both. Access is the client's to grant and revoke, the client owns the workspace, and the funded person is always the client, whoever operates it day to day.
What it costs and how it fits funding
What each transaction costs.
Indicative pricing. Pricing on this page is the working canon; exact pricing is confirmed before any paid work begins.
IF compliance. Every transaction is a specialist support service relating to the client's disability support needs, the test that matters under the post-April-2026 flexible funding rules. Each is priced on the cost of delivering it, and sits below the NZ$1,500 per-purchase pre-approval threshold for Tiers 1, 2, and 3 as a result.
Equipment. The smartphone itself is a separate client purchase and is not part of any Neuro Support invoice.
Comparison context. A single weekly hour of in-person support work runs NZ$3,000 to $4,000 per year. Higher-frequency support arrangements run NZ$10,000 to $20,000 per year. Neuro Support is built to reduce ongoing support hours by building the support into the client's own daily system, run with a specialist support worker.
The cost being addressed. The cost this service addresses is already being paid. Missed appointments, late fees, lapsed applications, and the load of holding everything in working memory are the running cost of unsupported executive function. The service is priced against that existing cost, and is built to stop it being paid.
Who delivers the service
Jamie.
Fifteen years of experience as a support worker. BA in Human Services with a Psychology minor. Lived experience of ADHD. Based in Christchurch.
The service is built from the inside out by someone who supports the population it is built for.
Scope of practice. Jamie is a support worker who builds systems. Not a therapist, counsellor, clinician, lawyer, financial adviser, or crisis service. The work is practical: reduce the load, capture what keeps escaping, make the next step clearer, build routines that survive real life.
IF hosts
Manawanui precedent; other hosts on request.
Neuro Support works with several IF hosts. Manawanui has previously paid a client's invoice for a Neuro Agent purchase at the NZ$1,499 per-transaction level (April 2026), under a pricing structure that has since been retired. That payment is a precedent for the purchase type, not the price. The current NZ$1,399 first month plus NZ$499/month ongoing service is priced on the cost of delivery, and sits below the pre-approval threshold as a result.
For other hosts, email Jamie with the host name and any specific approval requirements. Documentation can be provided on request.
Pathway
Discovery Call, then the first month (waitlist), then ongoing service (optional).
- 01Discovery Call. Free, 15 to 30 minutes, online or phone. The client (or you, on their behalf) books a call with Jamie. The call is for working out fit and answering questions.
- 02Decide. If the first month is the right next step, the client joins the waitlist. Jamie keeps the funder or coordinator in the loop on timing.
- 03First month (when it opens). A 90-minute live interview plus 8 x 15-minute Support Sessions across the month, online or in person if the client is in Christchurch. The first month builds the support system in the client's workspace and on their device.
- 04Ongoing service (optional). Neuro Support, NZ$499/month, holds the system sound and provides Help, four 15-minute sessions a month with unused sessions rolling over up to a maximum of eight, and curated topic guides on the systems clients navigate (WINZ, disability support), while the client learns to run it. Clients can stop any time; the built system keeps running on their own Notion Business plan.
You are welcome to join or observe a Discovery Call with the client's consent.
